The Hazel Pear is a charming, traditional pub situated in the picturesque Cheshire village of Acton Bridge, just a short drive from Northwich.
We pride ourselves on creating an experience that offers you a warm and inviting environment with a friendly team whose only aim is to make you feel at home.
Here you can enjoy delicious food, a great selection of drinks and the warmest of welcomes. Well behaved dogs are even welcome in the bar area! Everything a real village pub should be.
Whether you’re a visitor to the area or one of our lovely locals, we can’t wait to serve you with our delicious menus.
Located opposite Acton Bridge train station on Hill Top Road, the Hazel Pear has been at the heart of the Acton Bridge community since as early as 1837.
Formerly known at the Railway Hotel, the pub changed its name in 1972 to reflect the large number of Hazel Pear trees in the village, including an orchard of 56 behind the pub.
It’s believed that during the Second World War, American soldiers based at Delamere were frequent visitors to the pub!
Here we have a choice of styled rooms and spaces to enjoy a quality food offering, along with a great selection of real cask ales, fabulous wines and a vast range of gins available from the bar. We also have a large beer garden which is a beautiful space to enjoy the warmer weather.
If you’re looking for the perfect space to host a special event such as a birthday or wedding, we have a fantastic Function Room available to hire! Give us a call on 01606 854434 to find out more.
